My Favorite Tools

These are some tools that I know and love! I am using most these tools at the moment, have used them in the past or I am chomping at the bit to start using them. Quick note, some of the links are affiliate links, but I would never recommend something I don’t believe to be useful to you.

1. Jaaxy

The name is a bit strange and it doesn’t give away much. But if you want to build a successful online business you’ll need to do keyword research. And Jaaxy is one of the easiest ways to find low competition keywords. It even shows you how much traffic you might expect from the keyword.

Try a few free searches and see how you like it.

2. Convertkit

I have used quite a few autoresponders/newsletter systems for my self and through work. I used Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, Aweber and a few custom build ones. Nothing has been easier to set up than Convertkit.

If you are a blogger starting email marketing I highly recommend Convertkit as you can use content upgrades and embed your forms right in your blog post.

3. ClickFunnels

If you want to venture out a little further and create squeeze pages with funnels behind them to sell your own products or to offer affiliate products to your hot leads, ClickFunnels is the place to be. It’s incredibly easy to build your pages, your memberships and to take payment for your products.

But even if you want to keep it simple, you can build a squeeze page and thank you page in minutes. You can build several funnels leading to different (segments) of your list, so you can promote several affiliate products with one account! You can take ClickFunnels for a spin and see if you like it. It’s totally free for 14-days. Try it here.

Did you know you could also sign-up to promote ClickFunnels and earn a recurring income from that? I know you love that idea. Become a ClickFunnels Affiliate here.

4. SamCart

I really, really love SamCart. It is a perfect cart system and totally easy to set up. Imagine you have a product, like an e-book, a course, coaching or a physical product.

You can easily set up a one-page sales funnel within minutes. Not only that, SamCart helps you to increase your sales value by enabling you to offer order bumps and upsells.

Say you have an ebook at $27 for sale, you can add one week of email coaching as an order bump for $47. All one click payments. Then in the upsell offer a course or one-on-one coaching. It’s perfect!

SamCart has a great (and free) product demonstration where they show you 6 Easy Ways to Boost Your Sales in Less Than 10 Minutes. Check out the walk through here.

There is also a 14-day trial, so you can try selling your first product for 13 days (use the first day to set everything up) and if you do well you will already have earned your monthly subscription fee before you ever have to pay it.

5. KingSumo GiveAway

If you want to build your list quickly, the best thing you can do is run a giveaway. I have seen many successful giveaways and most of them have used this tool. The reason this tool is so effective is that it creates a viral effect.

People that enter your giveaway with an email address, then they can earn extra entries for sharing on their social channels and extra entries if their friends sign-up through them. More entries means a bigger chance of winning so most people are more than happy to share their link. You can give them entries for a lot of other tasks as well. Such as liking your FB page, following you on Instagram or YouTube or simply just visiting a link. Cool right?

You can use the online version, which has a free and paid option. Or you can get a WP plugin and host as many giveaways as you like from your own website. If you want to go for the plugin, you can get it here with a 20% discount (use VIRAL20 at check-out).

I have the developers license for the plugin, so if you think buying it outright is a bit too steep, feel free to drop me a line and we can work something out.

6. Deadline Funnel

I am itching to start using this tool. You may have heard of the power of urgency. It’s a great incentive to close a sale. You may have actually already seen it in practice.

Before Deadline Funnel you would find countdown timers, but if you refreshed the page, it would reset. There goes the power of urgency. But Deadline Funnel actually just keeps on counting down. And once the timer hits zero, the offer is gone or the price has increased.

This tool is amazing if you want to increase your sales or grow your customer base.Best thing is, it integrates with a lot of tools, such as ClickFunnels, SamCart and Convertkit (yes you can even countdown in emails)

You can try out their freelance plan (normally $37/mo) for free for 14-days here.

7. Elegant Themes –  Divi

If you want your website to look really really nice and have the option of drag and drop design, but don’t know anything about coding, Divi is the answer to all your prayers. They have a few pre-designed templates for your to play around with, but once you’ve got the hang of it, you will be able to drag elements to your pages to make it look exactly like you want it to.

I know enough to mess around with some Themes, but I find that I am always too limited in my design options, so if I really want to pull out all the stops I turn to Divi Theme. Like for instance this site: I build it for my employer by using templates and then altering it to suit my needs and wishes.

Try it for free and have a look at some demo sites, here.
